(Sad face, I thought it was still broken)
The parade was great. It reminded me of my home town complete with a bunch of old grandpas driving tractors. There was a group of Star Wars characters walking around the streets. This one was one of my patients in dental hygiene school. He makes all sorts of costumes (he made a Bumblee transformer that really transforms from car to machine). He was always telling me about his costumes so it was fun to see them. Addi thought all the kids running around after were quite hilarious. She kept laughing and clapping. She did get in on some candy gathering action.
After the parade we went to the park to walk around. There was a farm group there that had some goats and a calf for the kids to pet. Addi loved them all and threw a fit when we left.
The night ends with fireworks and ice cream. I love summer here in Washington. So much fun stuff to do!
