I was laying on the bed and Addi wanted to say hi to the baby. She pulled up my shirt, said "hi, baby brother". Then she ran away saying she would be right back. She came back with her baby's bottle, stuck it in my belly button and announced that she was feeding the baby.
Addi will often say "Guess what, my daddy work at football." "Guess what, my mommy works at COSTCO"

The Outside World
It is warm here and we are enjoying it. The past few weeks we have gone to the park every Wednesday and Saturday. Addi loves the park. She scares me a bit some times because she has no fear. I am certain she will fall off while trying to climb something and break a limb.
Last week Addi’s friends joined us. These two are so funny. Addi is always so excited to see her at dance every week and talks about how she will play and dance with Clara but when they see each other they just awkwardly stand by each other and don’t say a word. Eventually they decide they can talk to each other, just takes some time to warm up I guess. This particular day we were at a park that has pecan trees. We showed Addi and Clara the nuts and they decided that it was an excellent game and gathered nuts for us. It was more exciting then an Easter Egg hunt. They would scream with happiness when they found one and run over and put it in the bag.
This Saturday Will had to work so me and Addi headed to the Downtown Splash Pad. She was in heaven. She jumped up and down on the rocks, splashed in the water and had a great time. She also got to ride on the carousel. Afterwards we got some ice cream. It was a great afternoon with my cutie.

Plants and Things
The people that owned this house before us really loved roses. There are about 12 rose bushes around the house. We know nothing about rose bushes. We took a Saturday and went to Star Nursery, got some pruning tips, fertilizer and headed back. I made a really pathetic attempt at pruning the bushes and Will threw on some fertilizer. Magically, somehow roses have bloomed and quite a few of them. They are so pretty and I hope we continue to keep them alive.
Last year for Mothers Day Will got me a Topsy Turvy planter. I always think I am an excellent gardener, end up planting a giant garden and then it slowly dies. I think this was his way of nicely saying that I should try gardening in smaller quantities. Last year I don’t think anything grew (I blame the fact that we started late, not that I forgot to water it). This year we tried again. We have successfully grown large amounts of lettuce, green onions and a few strawberries. A squash, three tomato plants and a pepper plant are still alive and thriving just no produce yet. Maybe next year we can step it up a notch and grow a small real garden in the ground.
