Funny Girl
I love seeing her silly personality come out and all the hilarious stuff that she does.
Easter Weekend
I decided to do the Easter egg dying a bit different then the normal vinegar dying kits. We tried doing the shaving cream mixed with food coloring and then using Kool-Aid to dye the egg. Of course it did not turn out as cute as the ones on Pintrest but we had a whole lot of fun making them. Addi was slightly concerned in the beginning about putting her hands in the colored shaving cream but she eventually decided it was lots of fun. Se would concentrate to hard and getting the shaving cream on her egg and then dunk it all in the Kool-Aid mixture and then back to the shaving cream. In the end she had one gross colored blackish egg and one really broken camo egg.
Addi’s little hands could not fit into the gloves we had so she went bare handed and has permanently blue hands now.
Saturday night we went to the park and played tennis. Addi was the little cheerleader and would keep saying “Nice job, Robin.” She was also the ball fetcher which was excellent. She took her job very seriously and when a ball flew away she would yell that she would get it fast and don’t worry. Her job was going well until some beetles came on the court. Then she became terrified of the “uggs” and hated walking near them. Robin and Will had to go kill all the bugs and then Addi would close her eyes and run by them fast. She is just like her mom.
Easter morning Addi was not too excited about finding eggs until we showed her that candy was inside. She then got the idea and would yell with excitement every time she saw one.
We ended the weeked with a great day at church and then a little bbq before the girls left. I love spending holidays with family. Family makes everything better!

Happy Birthday to…..
Addi and I went to story time one week at the library. That week they were talking about birthdays. They learned the birthday song, read books about birthdays and made a birthday hat. That hat remained on her head for two days straight, was lost, then found and is worn at every opportunity. She also thinks it is always her birthday. Her favorite song is Happy Birthday and we sing it lots of times for Family Home Evening. It is hilarious to hear her randomly sing Happy Birthday to her self. I can’t wait till it is really her birthday because I am certain she will be very excited.
Home Depot Crafts
Since we have bought this house it seems like we go to Home Depot at least three times a week. I am beginning to hate that store as much as WalMart. One Saturday when we were there we came across their monthly kid projects. Apparently every month they have a little project that kids can do. That day was a race car which was perfect for Addi. She was so excited to get started and so was Will. We discovered that Addi calls the hammer a “knocker” and it is her favorite tool. Will and her had a great time putting their car together and we will definitely come back next month.
*she is still trying to master the “thumbs up”
