Catch up on Life

Oh life.  It flies by sometimes and I can’t seem to keep up.  Well our current life is this.  Loren, my sister, moved in with us for the summer.  She is working at Pizza Factory.  She is Addi’s new best friend.  On the totem pole of Addison love Loren is on the very top.

For some reason Will and I feel the need to constantly entertain Loren.  I am sure this will wear off soon but for now it is fun to have plans every day.  Yesterday we found a new park and went to play tennis.

Addison was our official ball chaser.  Loren was not very skilled and hit lots of balls over the fence.  Addison would immediately run and go get it.  I love how she runs.  It is like her hole body jiggles; her arms flop around, her cheeks shake, her tongue hangs it.  It is humorous.  She also spent a large amount of time trying to get under the net.  She didn’t want to crawl because the ground was hot so she would try to walk and lift and it was not working out.

Loren and I ran in the Color Me Rad 5K last weekend.  Here is our before picture:

And then this is me about 3 minutes into the race.

I was a bit sad because Robin and my Mom were supposed to come but couldn’t (more on that later) but Loren was excellent company and stayed with my slow self the whole way.  They have “Color Stations” where people throw the chalk and then they spray you with colored water.  I got hit really good by a green sprayer and the skin on my side was green for a few days.

Last new thing in my life is eBay.  A person needed to get rid of their two large storage units and I am selling it all on eBay and around town.  It is consuming my life.  Every night I take pictures and post things on the internet.  It is actually fun and I like it.  It amazing the amount of money people are willing to spend on random stuff. The only part I don’t like is trying to juggle 7 large boxes and a toddler to the post office.  Addi has figured out that I take lots of pictures of things so each time I bust out the camera and more crap (I mean extremely valuable stuff) she says “Cheeese” and I must take a picture of her before I can continue.

One of the many items was one of those plasma electric balls.  (actually I had three, seriously, if there is one thing there is probably two more of the exact same kind somewhere).  Addi was completely amazed by it.

Will is working less which is awesome.  He works till about 2 and comes home to hang out.  We watch George, go to the park, play with water, watch more George, clean the house, and hang out.  I love the summers here and can’t wait to do more fun things.

Speaking of George Addison is completely obsessed.
