It seems like I post about going to Vegas a lot. Do other people visit Vegas as much as I feel like we do?
Anyways, Will's sister has a time share in Vegas and they were headed down for spring break and where nice enough to invite us to come crash their party. We left at about 8 on Tuesday night. I figured that Addi would sleep the entire way since she usually goes to bed at 7:30. Will set up a DVD player for her to watch and I was certain that that was pointless because she was going to pass out instantly. She did not. She leaned as close to the screen as she could and watch with a slightly open and drooling mouth the entire way. I don’t think she moved. Once in a while she would clap or make the noise of an animal she saw but was pretty much just in a TV coma the entire way. I am not sure if it is a good thing that she is such a TV addict at her young age.
Our fist stop of the trip was to the Silverton Hotel and Casino for dinner and to see the aquarium. The front of the casino is a big sportsman’s store that is pretty cool. It had lots of animals and things to look at. Will showed Addison this bear and she immediately kissed it. Strange child.
She also liked this giraffe, just not at this moment!
The store also has an aquarium with lots of fish and a few mermaids inside! Addi liked to just stare at them all. She would get a little nervous if a big one started to swim close to her. I love fish for some reason and love aquariums. These are my favorite; I love their cute little faces!
The next day we went to Circus Circus. Will is generally terrified of all roller coasters but he can handle these little ones so I was excited to go on some rides with him. We had some bad luck with rides though. There was one that I really wanted to go on, we would wait in line and right before we would get on it broke down. This happened three times but I was determined to ride it. Finally we made it on and it was really fun. Even better then the ride is to hear Will yell and scream.
Addi is like me and LOVES these rides. She was too short to go on the majority of them but the few ones she could go on she loved it. We did a little bus ride that lifted you up high and then drop you back down. I could tell she got nervous at the top but would always laugh and scream on the way down.
She also discovered that she loves the carousel. We could not make her let go the first time we went on. Good thing the line was very very short because we would get off and head right back into the line.
The above picture is her being very upset because she had to wait in line before riding it again.
We also went to Mandalay Bay to see the shark reef. The actual shark part was pretty cool. I would have liked to stay and look at the sharks longer but Addison was done with the day and I to take the screaming child out. There should be a law throughout the world that if your child ruins your experience you should get your money back. And probably all the other people that had to hear her scream! At the beginning of the Shark Reef they had an area where you could pet the sting rays. Addi loved it. She was probably so angry during the rest because she just wanted to go back and play in the “waty”
She really did get sick of strolling around all day long.
It was a fun trip but me and Will are unsure if we will ever again vacation with Addison! Just kidding (mostly).

Um, I would appreciate it if you would write a petition to get that law passed. I'd sign in a heartbeat!
Sounds like you guys had fun.
