Little Addison has started talking and has not stopped. She just rambles on and on about who knows what because we can not understand her at all. We where car shopping all day Saturday and she seriously jabbered on the entire day. It is quite funny to watch her and I really wish I knew what the heck she was saying. She loves to say words that have the “x” noise in it. Like blocks, socks, rocks, and box. It sounds like “bloxxxx” when she says it. Addi is really obsessed with rocks. She loves to point at them , sit on them, jump on them, carry them and occasionally eat them. We test drove a car down to Zions and went to the gift shop and let her pick out some rocks. That was the best $2.50 I ever spent because she was completely entertained to look at and talk to her “pretty roxxx”. She also discovered she can put the rocks in her pocket which is a whole new level of excitement.
My parents got Addi these blocks for Christmas and I am not going to lie I really despised them for awhile. She would just dump them out and drag them all over the house. Recently she has figured out how to work the blocks and she loves them and so that means I love them. She will sit and play by herself for about 15 minutes which is awesome. Some times she does not push the block on all the way so I tell her to push it hard and I get this goof ball face.
One of the things she loves to do is point out her body parts and others. The most favorite being her belly button. If she meets some random person in public she will shyly pull up her shirt, say “b bow” and point to her belly. I really need to stop this habit especially when she tries to find the other persons belly button. This may be cute behavior now but probably not when she is 7!
We went to her 18 month checkup and she measured 33 1/4 inches and 26 lbs and 11 ounces. (I feel like I must record this some where because I am an awful Mom and have not written anything in her baby book since she was born). She is tall, skinny and has a tiny head. 90% in height, 80% in weight and 40% in head circumference. And she is becoming hilarious. The faces she makes make me laugh all day. I hope she stays funny.
This kid is obsessed with the Itsy Bitsy Spider and Popcorn Popping. The only problem is that you have to sing the certain song that she is thinking or else she runs away crying. Really. If she wants the spider song she will put her fingers together and say “itsy”. If she wants the popcorn song she does the popcorn sign. On the trip to Zions we had to sing these two songs for about 20 minutes straight or she would cry. The next trip we brought some kid song CD’s that sadly she loves. Me and Will on the other hand, hate them.
I realize that this picture is awful but look how happy she is doing "itsy"
In adult news we bought a car! A copper Nissan Murano. I love the outside color but the organish/copper is on the inside as well which is kinda odd but whatever. I hope this car will last us a long time since the last vehicle we bought cost us lots and lots of money and we only had it for a year.
Yep, that’s my teeth with braces all over. Third time around better leave me with a perfect smile. I am supposed to be done in under one year and hopefully will be able to get away with only braces on the top. Next plan is to get Will in braces.
