So my aunt is attempting to make me crafty. I have always wanted to be crafty and usually I fail miserably. While she was helping make Will's Dixie quilt I mentioned that my Dad loves denim quilts and that I should maybe make one for him some time. She told me I should get one done for Christmas. I decided I could do a simple denim quilt with just squares sewn together. While I was going through her piles of fabric I stumbled upon my Dad's old K-9 Utah Highway Patrol uniforms. Kristen said she had been saving them to do a quilt but that I might as well do it for my Christmas quilt. She sent me home with the shirts and graphing paper to plan out my quilt. I am proud to say that I did the entire thing from planning to cutting to sewing (I did have some help quilting during our marathon quilting day). I always get so scared when I cut things. I measured and remeasured the center piece for about an hour before I finally made the first cut. I eventually got more comfortable with it and things started moving along. I ran into a few problems during the process but I figured out how to fix it all by myself. There are a few things that I would of done different but now I know for next time I guess. It is not even close to perfect but I am pretty impressed with my self.

Nice work!!
Very impressive!
I love it!
I want to learn to quilt! I got a sewing machine for Christmas since before whenever I needed one I just ran to my Mom's. Now that I actually have one, I'm terrified to use it!
Cam, I have discovered that you just have to try it. Go to a thrift store and buy a bunch of clothes, cut them up and if it does not work out then you are out like 5 bucks.
That quilt is awesome! Lucky Sanford.
