Thanksgiving in Albuquerque

My grandparents have been in Nauvoo on a mission for the past 18 months.  They got home just in time for us to celebrate Thanksgiving at their house in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  It was great to be able to see them after such a long time.  It was a long 10 hour drive to get there but it was worth it.
We made two turkeys; a regular oven one and then we fried another.  The frying was a little scary because the oil started to over flow once the turkey was in, but eventually all the boys got it under control.  The turkey was delicious when it was all done.  I want a fried turkey every year!

For Thanksgiving Addi had carrots for the first time.  She loved them (a little too much).  She got so excited every time I put the spoon to her mouth that she would try to shove it in her mouth.  Addi and the Bumbo seat where completely orange by the time we where done.

Me and my sister Robin decided that we had to try out the Black Friday shopping.  We never had and have always wanted to so we decided this was the year.  We really did not have much to buy but we headed out to Kohl's at 3 in the morning then hit up JC Penny, WalMart, Bed, Bath and Beyond, Ross and Best Buy.   It was pretty crazy but at least we can now say we did it.
This is us about to head out at 3 in the morning

Here is a few pictures of the family before church.

We had a great time hanging out with family, eating lots of food and doing some shopping.  I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
