Because of the jaundice we had to take her to the hospital lab to get tested for jaundice every morning. When the do this the poke her heal and the squeeze blood out into a little vile. I do not do good with needles and blood especially when it is on my little girl. My mom held her the first two times we went and I just looked away. The next time we went Robin was with us and of course she just had to hold her. During the procedure Rob looked fine and I thought there was nothing wrong. When they where done she handed Addi to me and we walked out of the room. I was gathering the diaper bag and such, my mom was holding the door open for us and I heard Robin saying "mom, mom, mom". I turned to her and she was hanging on a wheelchair. I knew she was about to faint so I grabbed her arm but with Addi in my arms I was not very successful in stopping her from falling. She collapsed onto a row of wheelchairs knocking them all down. The security guard was there in about 2 seconds and was able to help her up and get her sat down. She turned to me with mascara running down her face and mumbled "At least I did not break my jaw," then her head went back to her lap d(my other sister once fainted and broke her jaw in three places). The nurses came over, took her vitals and determined that she was well enough to leave. The next few hours my mom refused to let her hold Addi in fear that she would faint again.
Addi always has her hands up to her head. She likes to grab her cheek right under her eye. In her ultrasound pictures her hands are up to her face too. She is just too cute.
