Addi kicked my patient in the head.
As my stomach has gotten bigger I have noticed that my belly gets super close to my patients head. Yesterday I was really focused on what I was doing and did not realize that my patients head was pressing into the stomach. Apparently the baby felt that this was annoying. I am scaling along and feel the strongest kick ever. I immediately froze. Maybe he did not notice? Oh, he did. He looks up at me and says "What was that?" Laughing I said "um, pretty sure it was my baby, sorry."
He laughed and kept making jokes about it all day. Good thing I had an understanding patient or that could of been a tad bit awkward.
