Today me and Will where able to heart the heart beat of our little baby. It was so amazing to actually hear it. It made the pregnancy so much more real (I am not showing and have few symptoms so its hard to believe there is something growing in there).
We told my family about the baby on Christmas day. I had a baby frame wrapped up. Inside the frame there was a little paper that said "Picture of Ryan or Addison to arrive August 2, 2010." We gave my daddy the gift and waited with excitement for him to open it. He finally get in unwrapped, looked at it, gave an odd look and said "well thanks" and set it down. This was not the reaction we had anticipated.
My Mom took it from it and figured it out; she congratulated us and while we where talking about it my dad said "So what does this mean, are you pregnant?" When the entire family had figured out our difficult riddle we had quite a laugh. In my dads defense he was not wearing his reading glasses! I cant believe I held in the news long enough to give it as a Christmas present; but I am so glad I did.
Its going to be a funny story to tell the baby when he/she comes.
